Rotem Nir is an Israeli conductor, born in 1998.
A rising star with rare talent and a distinct musicality,
he currently serves as the Conductor in residence of the Israeli Opera and the Israel Symphony Orchestra.
In 2024 he made his debut with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and started the 2025 with Otello by Verdi at the Israeli Opera.
Internationally, Rotem has served as an Assistant Conductor at notable institutions and festivals such as
the Salzburg Festival, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.
Upcoming engagements include Ariadne auf Naxos, Die Zauberflöte, Salome and Tosca at the Israeli Opera in Tel-Aviv
and symphonic concerts in Tel-Aviv, Bari and Ingolstadt.
